• Digital ventilation, vaporization, gas mixing and delivery, and data communications 

• Digital gas delivery: Provides precise, electronic control of gas flow, ensuring accuracy, especially for low-flow anesthesia.
• Digital vaporization: The system uses Aladin2 cassettes for digitally controlled and continuously monitored delivery of anesthetic agents like Isoflurane, Sevoflurane, and Desflurane. This electronic control also offers automatic record-keeping of agent usage.
• End-tidal control (Et Control): An optional software feature on the Aisys CS² version automatically adjusts fresh gas flow to maintain target end-tidal oxygen (EtO2) and anesthetic agent (EtAA) concentrations, which can reduce clinician workload and agent consumption. 

• SmartVent 7900 technology: The ventilator engine uses electromagnetic proportional flow valves for precise volume and pressure control. It offers a wide range of ventilation modes, including VCV, PCV, SIMV, and PSVPro, to accommodate a diverse patient population, from neonates to adults.
• Low tidal volume: Capable of delivering tidal volumes as low as 5 mL in Pressure Control Ventilation (PCV) mode, which is important for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Advanced Breathing System (ABS): The integrated ABS has a low circuit volume of 2.7 liters, which enables faster wash-in and wash-out times for quick changes in fresh gas and anesthetic agent concentration.
