Elos technology is a unique combination of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and RF (Radio Frequency) that uses gentle pulses of two targeted energies to penetrate deeper below the skin dermis than laser and IPL, more effectively targeting the hair follicle.
A pulse of elōs (RF + IPL) is emitted for a fraction of a second. The IPL energy is converted to thermal energy, heating up the hair shaft and the hair follicle. The RF energy is attracted to the pre-heated follicle, heating it further and treating it, permanently disabling the follicle and preventing hair re-growth.

  • Why? Years of sun damage, often seen on the face, legs, neck and upper chest in women, can cause mottled redness, brown spots and uneven skin texture. Elos Plus treatments are used to even out skin tone and texture, taking years off someone’s apparent age and reducing the need to regularly apply foundation makeup.
  • Are you a candidate? If you have redness, brown patches or spots, broken blood vessels, or irregular skin texture, and want minimal down time, you may be a candidate for Elos Plus.
  • The procedure and recovery: Before treatment, a cool gel will be applied to the skin. As treatment occurs, a bright light will flash on the skin and you will feel a slight stinging sensation. After treatment, brown spots typically get slightly darker and then flake off. Redness may occur and will typically resolve in 1-2 days.
  • Results: Typically, desired results will take 1-3 treatment sessions, but some improvement will usually be seen with each treatment.
