- Displays a Cardiac Electrical Biomarker (CEB), Vectraplex AMI index, for the real-time detection of ECG changes suggestive of an Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI, heart attack)
- Derives a total of 15 ECG leads (12-lead ECG, XYZ vector cardiogram leads and vector loops) from the placement of only 5 electrodes
- Displays results within seconds and provides continuous real-time status updates automatically
- Incorporates a patient data base
- Report editor feature allows inclusion of additional physician diagnoses
- Capability of e-mailing patient data
- 3-page printout with the appropriate labeling of all leads, thus reducing the risk of mislabeling
- EMR Compatible
Description
Vectraplex Portable ECG System with 15-Lead Capability
The Vectraplex Portable ECG System, developed by VectraCor, offers a unique capability to derive a 15-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) using only five electrodes. It is a compact, USB-based device that connects to a Windows PC or tablet, making it suitable for portable and emergency use.
Key features
- Derived 15-lead ECG: The system uses five electrodes to mathematically derive a full 15-lead report, which includes the standard 12-lead ECG along with vectorcardiogram/XYZ leads and vector loops.
- Optional 12-lead ECG: The device can also be used with the standard 10-electrode placement to measure a conventional 12-lead ECG.
- Cardiac Electrical Biomarker (CEB): The system’s proprietary technology displays a color-coded index number (the CEB) that can help detect ECG changes suggestive of an acute myocardial infarction (AMI or heart attack).
- Connectivity: It offers the capability to send patient data and reports via email. The system is also compatible with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Compact and portable: The small size of the device allows it to be used in various settings, including homes, emergency departments, and clinics.
- Computer integration: The core of the system is a USB-based cable that interfaces with dedicated software on a Windows computer. Hospital packages may include an integrated, anti-microbial touchscreen computer and rolling stand.
